Impact of Teacher Efficacy on Students’ Academic Achievement

Abstract

The efficiency of a teacher has a long way in determining the overall academic performance of a student, a teacher is responsible for nurturing the latent potential of a student, this is only possible if a teacher is efficient enough to update his knowledge and skills with changing times and technologies, an efficient teacher helps students to nurture his skills and face the cut throat competition, a teacher has to dispense off his duties diligently to nurture the overall capabilities of a student and to make him outshine. He has to work on his efficacy to make learning process fruitful and to bring academic changes wherever needed. This paper tries to identify the impact of efficacy of teachers on the overall academic performance of students.
